Susan has over a year of voice over training with Such A Voice to include hours of Voice Acting coaching with numerous well established Professional Voice Actors as well as editing and marketing coaching and other Voiceover Professionals not associated with SAV.
Prior to her interest in Voice Over, Susan worked as a Voice Over IP Network Engineer for a large Global Corporation. She is still a certified Cisco VoIP Collaboration Specialist. Prior to that moment in life, she served in the United States Army as a Radiologic Technologist (x-ray tech) and Mammographer. Prior too jumping into the military, Susan was a Law Enforcement Patrol Officer in the state of Florida. She still hasn’t decided what she wants to be when she grows up, but she knows she’ll never stop exploring the possibilities!
Her voice and tone draws from a lifetime of service, sacrifice and being witness to the good and wonderful, the painful and joyful and the downright ugly of life.
Susan’s voice has been described as mellifluous, calm, smooth yet gritty, inspirational and authoritative. Soft, with a deep resonance.
While not behind the mic, Susan enjoy’s fishing off shore of Jacksonville Florida, kayaking and fishing the inland waters and salt marshes and biking the local trails and beaches. She is an avid camper who surrendered her tent for a camper trailer. However, she can still pitch that tent when needed. She also loves to write Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror and from that love has started a Production company to write, produce and send out into the wonderful world of Podcasting various short stories. First episode script is currently underway and updates to this bio will be made upon release.
